This is powerful! I read it once and new that there would be many that would appreciate such a strong and touching poem. Therefore I hope you like this as it was written from Reece Raymond a talented writer from East London. Entitled “Deniability”. The title alone causes me to wonder, the word deniability derives from the word deny which means to ” Refuse to admit the truth or existence of something”. Deniability
If your taking shots your shooting in the dark,
because every single bullet just flew straight past,
None of those shells even left a mark,
Pulling on the trigger but the trigger didn’t spark,
What was the point I’m standing in the light,
I told you I’m here anytime you want to take delight,
I’ll wear a high-vis jacket so I’m in full sight,
Your just angry because you know that I’m right,
Those indirect are clearly directed at me,
Your so caught up living with your unrealities,
What’s really happening your too blind to see,
There’s no such thing as a good thing that’s free,
Has it never dawned on you that your life is just a myth,
That you’ve been taken over by the devil like agent smith,
That when you wake up your still sleeping,
That when you cry you’re not actually weeping,
Those are not tears that run from your eyes,
Your whole life they have been feeding you lies,
That breast milk your mothers disguise,
Shading you from this systems demise,
The propaganda that the media injected,
Travelled through your veins so God you rejected,
You let it take you over,
You didn’t even search for Jehovah,
You let him sit in the back of your mind,
And left those realities of the future far behind,
All those times that he was kind,
And that contract to death you still signed,
What a shame, what a complete mess,
Come back now and confess,
Jehovah will forgive you and won’t think no less,
Don’t waste it all for eternal death…….
